Check in time:
30 minutes prior to departure at Mola Mola office. Clients will get a boarding pass for their particular boat in exchange for their booking voucher / payment.
All boats depart from the Walvis Bay Jetty unless specified differently. The Shore Skipper (Mola Mola employee) monitors the arrival of passengers, and organizes the loading and departure of boats.
Pelican Point, Oyster farms, Walvis Bay Harbour and Pelican Point Lighthouse.
Bottlenose and Heavyside Dolphins, Cape Fur Seals, Mola Molas, penguins, Leatherback Turtles, whales (July-November).
Flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, White Chinned Petrel, Wilson’s Storm Petrel, Cape Gannet, Black Oystercatcher.
Currently 5 boats (Kalina, Olin, Flipper, Jo Jo, Mola Mola).
Max. Capacity is 98 people per day. All the boats have a covered cabin area, comfortable seating and toilet facilities on board.
English, German, Afrikaans. Tour guides, needed for translation purposes, can join free of charge.

Cold drinks(Coke and fruit juice), bottled water, beers, sparkling wine, fresh Walvis Bay oysters, snack platters (meatballs, spring rolls, fried fish, boiled eggs, cheese sticks with gherkin, bread rolls, calamari rings and more).

Most of our boats are wheelchair friendly. Please advise when booking!
Boats are fully insured and surveyed annually. All skippers have valid licenses and go through intense guiding training. All the necessary safety equipment, first aid kits and life jackets (for adults and children) can be found on board of every vessel.
It can be windy on the boat, warm clothes are recommended. Blankets will also be available on board.
Boats usually stay in the protected bay area during the tours. The tours are also done in the mornings before the infamous Walvis Bay wind picks up. All boats are stable double hull catamarans.
